Sign Design Guidelines for
Lahaina Historic District

Since the adoption of the first historic district ordinance in 1962, the issues of appropriate sign area, sign design, fabrication, installation and lighting have generated significant dialogue and a great degree of creativity. The Lahaina Historic Districts Sign Design Guidelines are meant to bring clarity to these issues and thereby establish overall consistency in the review and apprval of sign design.
